Questions re park opening, entry and rope drop

These may be silly questions but I have no clue...

If the park opens at 9:00 a.m., what time do they start letting people through the turnstiles? What time will the rope drop be?

They will probably let guests in a couple minutes before 9 and then have rope drop at exactly 9. If the crowds warrant it, they may open the gates early to allow the large crowd in the central plaza(esplanade) to thin out, but only if there are long lines to get in.
