Questions re: Country Inn - Calypso Cay

For those of you that have stayed at this resort --

1. Do any standard rooms have a pool view?

2. What restaurants are nearby? (Doesn't have to be walking distance, just a quick drive.)

3. Is there easy access to the toll road going into Disney?

4. Any bad experiences?

on #3:
There is easy access to the Osceola Parkway which is a simple toll road to Disney. Or, if you don't want to pay a toll, go north on 535 to the intersection with 536 (there's a traffic light and you'll see Caribe Royale off to the upper right, along with Buena Vista Suites). Turn left and you're headed into Disney on 536 without a toll.

We stayed there last Fall, but I'm not able to answer all your questions, unfortunately.

1. Our std. view room overlooked the parking lot. Don't know about others.

2. There were a ton, but we were in the parks the 4 days we were there and never used them. I was surprised by just how much "stuff" was nearby this hotel.

3. Yep. Just as pocohantas2004 said

4. Nah. We had a kidsuite and it was smaller than I had thought it would be. I can't imagine a kid over age 10 fitting in there. We got our room for something like $63/night and thought it was an incredible value. However, I would say that beyond like $80-$90/night it might be best to look into other options.
