Prices are up a bit from when I last visited the parks. Can somebody give me an idea of the following?

1. Good rate for DLH? (and what would an AP rate for Oct. be? I'm considering getting an AP again.)

2. How do you add an extra day to the PH ticket? I can get a good rate on a 6-day ticket, but was hoping for 7 days in the park. If I add a day while I'm using the ticket, do I lose my deal on the 6-day ticket?

Thanks for helping! :)

Someone recently posted some AP rates for mid-August, and if I recall correctly, DLH was near (maybe not quite at) $200/night. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in the actual prices for October.

And hopefully someone will tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Disney directly offers 7-day tickets? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=42149892 has some info that sounds like you might be able to get Disney to do some kind of "exception."

Barring the exception, as far as I know, "upgrading" a 6-day ticket would either be upgrading to an AP, or buying a 7th day separately.

That said, if you're planning to visit even one more time before next October, you'll probably do better with a Deluxe AP, even without hotel discounts. (You might even do better with a Premium, but IF you're staying at a hotel within walking distance and won't be parking, Deluxe can be nearly as good if your trip doesn't fall within blockout dates. You'd only miss some discounts.)

Have a great trip!
