Have decided to get some more use out of my AP, so I'm thinking of heading down to WDW in the middle of October. I was thinking of doing MNSSHP, but wanted to get people's opinions about it first. Is this ok to do solo? Is it the same as MVMCP? Is it worth the $$?

How crowded are the parks at this time of year? Is it worth going in October or should I wait a few weeks and go at the beginning of November? Are the parks open late or do they close early? Anything special happening that would significantly increase the crowds? HELP!!!

I am by no means an expert but with Fairytale package which is good for travel through October you might find it more crowded then than it will be in Nov.

Miscapper,

I was actually just thinking about that. I'm thinking of changing to the beginning or middle of November (before Thanksgiving) and heading down there next October instead. My family went last October and ending up being there the week of the golf tournament and remarked that the crowds seemed heavier than usual.

How is it in November (before Thanksgiving)? Anything special going on then? How are the crowds? The weather? Are the park hours short? Is there e-nights? Isn't this when the cheerleading events happen or is that a different month?

Jersey week is in November, I believe between the 2nd and 3rd week.

The weather is comfortable... neither hot or cold

The park hours are a bit shorter.

I can't remember when the cheerleader event is, but it seems like there is more than one.

We went last October... 3rd week, and LOVED it. It wasn't overly crowded, the golf tournament was over.

We went to MNSSHP, and had a blast, and also went to the Food and Wine Festival.

Whatever you decide, have a great time, and we will see you then!

Watch the dates for the Food and Wine Festival. Last Nov. I caught the end of the festival and it was great. The crowds were way down and the weather wasn't to hot.
