Questions on Restaurants

This is my first time to Universal. According to previous posts that I have seen, there was a limited amount of restaurants that take PS times. How long are the waits with an on-site room key at places like Margaritaville and NBA City? What would be a good time to try? I will be there April 22-April 27th. I have reservations for Hard Rock Cafe and Mama Dellas.

Lunch is always good. If you go at the right time, you wont have to wait too long. As for your room key, I think it allows you to skip the outside line, if there is one.

Your on-site room key will speed up the wait, sometimes substantially. One summer night about 9 p.m. we went to Pastamore. The wait was an hour and fifteen minutes. I flashed our room key and we only had a 10-15 minute wait. It really helps. Lunch is always a good time to hit the City Walk restaurants, too. There is usually not much of a wait, if any at
lunchtime. Sometimes, you can even get into Emeril's at lunch if you're there early.
