Our AP's expire mid-January.
Around that time we may also be FL residents.
1) What will we need to prove FL residency for FL AP's?
2) Can we renew our current regular AP's as a FL AP (premium)? Or will will have to just buy new FL AP's, period? (Not counted as a renewal)

I think someone told me we have 30 days to renew after the AP's expire. But not sure I would have to go that long anyway.

We have been using our drivers license for proof, but I think they will take other such as a utility bill with other id.

I also think they stopped the 30 days after expiration to renew, at least if you want the discount. I could be wrong, but thats the best answers I have.:earsboy:

Can't help you with the question on renewals, but you can find out what documents you may use to prove Florida residency by clicking here.

I didn't have my Florida drivers license yet but bought utility and telephone bill with our address. The CM wanted to see school ID's for my teen sons but since it was summer they hadn't been to any Florida schools. Luckily one son had his Orange County public library card with him and she took that. She did caution us that if anyone ever asked to see ID with our PAPs that we would need either our utility bill or a Florida drivers license or Florida ID cards. (We moved here from Texas this summer.) We have since gotten our FL Drivers License.

Disney will accept the following as proof of Florida residency:
Proof of Florida residency is required -- you must provide any one of the following:

- Florida driver's license
- Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
- Current utility statement with your name and Florida address along with a corresponding picture ID
- Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
- A college ID for a Florida college
- Florida-based military ID

Yes you can. You should be charged the FL renewal rate for an AP (which is currently $318.54) or for a FL PAP ($377.01).

That used to be the official renewal policy but it changed in October of 2000. Now the official policy is that it has to be renewed by the expiration date. However, as we all know, Disney policy is cast in Jello. Many people have reported little to no trouble getting the renewal done up to a month after the expiration date.
