Hi everyone! Sorry if these have been asked before, I'm new to all of this.
We are 2 weeks away from our trip and we found out a few days ago that our 16yr old has a fracture in the growth plate in her hip. She is on crutches right now but I know there is no way she could use them at any of the parks.
Ok questions
I need to rent a wheelchair but I don't think just a park chair is going to work because what the in the world would we do with her crutches while we are in the park?
I know she can't have an ECV so I guess just a regular chair that we will push her in will do, but what size do I get her? And wheelchairs can go on buses right?
Because she can use her crutches in the room or even hobble if needed we probably wouldn't need a HA room but do wheelchairs fit ok on the elevators or should we try to get a ground floor? We are at POP
How does it work with the rides? I get that we can get her a DAS and it works a little like Fastpasses (am I understanding that right?) but is there a place we park her chair that won't require too much walking or standing?
I know no matter what we are going to have a great time and she's been a real trooper through this. Any help would be great!
