Questions for those whose children trade pins and collect pressed pennies

On our last trip (when she was 3), my DD really enjoyed trading pins with cast members and collecting pressed pennies.

On the other hand, I didn't enjoy carrying around the lanyard, pennies & quarters (in an M&M's minis container) and penny book - now she wants to collect autographs too - yikes!

So... what's the best way to tote alll of this around - my first thought was her "own" little backpack but I really want to encourage her to sit in the double stroller with her sis as much as possible (I just feel safer if I can see them both in front of me!), so a backpack isnt practical.

She does hate wearing the lanyard (I don't blame her) and she's pretty small (less than 35lbs), so I can't weigh her down too much!!!

My next thought was a little bag she can wear cross body that has some sort of removable flap for her pins - it still would have to be a decent size to hold the pressed penny and autograph book though I guess. And since I have never really seen what I'm envisioning, I'd have to sew it up myself - not the end of the world - but I need to have a really good vision of what would be good - and right now, the vision is still blurry!!!

Any advice or helpful hits would be appreciated!!

Would she wear her own fanny pack? My daughter had a small minnie mouse one that she wore at that age to carry her own stuff. Just an option.

I think the small fanny pack is a great idea!

I use to (and still do usally) LOL carry all my dd's (she's now 8) stuff around WDW. Pins, auto book, etc..
