Questions for those that have used Super Shuttle

SuperShuttle takes you directly to your hotel. Disneyland Resort Express takes you to most hotels, or to the drop-off between two properties, if more convenient.

so i was looking online...and something i noticed was that DLExpress was cheaper. For two Adults SuperShuttle charges $64 (roundtrip) and DLExpress charges $56 (roundtrip)* if u book online ahead of time...$60 if u don't...reservations are not required. I don't believe there is a price difference for SuperShuttle and I don't think they require reservations...but i would suggest it.

Hi, We are here now!!!! I'm SO SORRY I totally forgot to ask specifically when we got picked up at LAX just because we had travelled so far and not much sleep and was pretty brain dead at that point and we had brought our booster seat. I PROMISE I will ask the driver when on Saturday when he picks us up to go back to LAX. BUT I will note that the lady at LAX taking our info on where we going did not at all ask if we had brought one and it wasn't visible because it was in a bag with the stroller so I'm pretty sure she didn't at all care whether we had one or not. The driver of the van was busy loading all of our luggage with my DH when I was putting the seat in the van (yes, definitely a van with Super Shuttle) and he never came back to even check whether DD was in a carseat or not.

Just to let you all know our Super Shuttle experience so far. We booked online and used an online coupon code which I can't think of where I found it at the moment but I know the link was from a thread on here. It gave us $2 off per person. Booking round trip was cheaper than booking one way. When we arrived at LAX we had to go the shuttle section and we had a wait of about 10-15 minutes before a shuttle came for us. We seemed to arrive at a peak time because lots of people there when we first got there and they all got on shuttles first (some going to DL area) and then we were there by ourselves for about 5 minutes until a van came. The van that came was already pretty full and the 3 of us took up the last remaining seats. Luckily everyone was going to DL area but also everyone else got dropped off before us so we had 4 stops before ours (a few single riders) which was a pain but not too big of a deal really. I'm glad we got it though over DL express because we had lots of bags and heavy ones and I saw where DL Express stops and no way would we have been able to lug our luggage from there to the Camelot where we are staying. If we had only a couple we could have though. Can't say what our return trip is like until Saturday but that's what we have so far....oh yeah, the drive was fine. He didn't drive crazy at all and after hearing stories I was worried about that. I hope we get an easy one on our return too. Will let you know what I find out as soon as I can!

How easy is it to find the Super Shuttle wait area? When you preregister for it, do you specify which hotel you are staying at? Or do they ask when you board?

I'm just wondering if this is something that is super easy to do. If I'm going by myself in June with 4 children, just wondering if I can do this on my own! :scared1:

Can someone provide direct links to Super Shuttle and also to the Disneyland Express?

TIA!! :)

It's really easy to find the shuttle wait area. When you walk outside at arrivals there will be signs saying 'vans' with arrows pointing which way to walk. At LAX International section we walked a smidge to the left and then you cross the street to the middle section where you will see someone in a SUPER SHUTTLE jacket. Just make sure if you have really young kids to keep a hold of them. I didn't really like the traffic whizzing by on both sides of the small island we were on with DD4 who can be quite oblivious.

When I booked online they did ask what hotel we are staying at and when we checked in at the airport she asked where we were going as well. Don't know the direct link but the website is supershuttle.com

Okay, for our ride from the hotel back to the airport (goodbye DL :sad1: ) and whilst waiting for our ride I watched 3 young children + 2 babies get in a Super Shuttle van and 2 taxis and nobody had a carseat with them or were asked about having one. When our shuttle came it was full except for the last row of seats. We HAD our booster seat and the driver did not care that we did and actually told us to put DD in the middle seat which only had a lap belt. So there you go people....the carseat rule may apply legally but from my experience and what I saw, it would really depend more on the driver you get and from the ones I had they really didn't care whether you had one or not....same here in the taxi in Vegas. It's more up to you whether you want to use one and 'insist' that you are able to.

they really do need to change the company policy on that, or at least make sure the drivers follow the law...
