Questions for those currently living in Orlando

Hi!


I am moving down to Orlando in July and I am looking for input. I will be renting an apartment for the short term, (Auvair Village on the east side of Orlando.)

Can anyone tell me about the area? The schools? (They are Glenridge for the middle school and Winter Park for high school.)

Any just plain good things to know?

I appreciate any and all help!

I don't live in Orlando, but wanted to tell you that you can go to greatschools.net to check out the schools!

And actually, the apartments are called Auvers Village, near N Semoron & Colonial Blvd.

I was kind of hoping to hear from people that might know the "lay of the land" so to speak.
