We're flying southwest this Friday, and have a few questions:

We're going to Chicago and St Louis. Is a drivers license all the id that we will need or do I need to get our birth certificates? Will DD age 11 need a birth certificate?

Doing on-line check-in. If we have a connecting flight, when I get the boarding card for the first flight, will I also get one for the 2nd flight?

Thanks for the assistance

You will NOT get your connecting boarding cards at your originating city...You will need to get them when you arrive at your connecting city.....Have fun!

You can check in for all legs of your trip if you are changing planes and the flight number is different.
It just takes a bit more time. You have to sign in for each person, cannot be a reservation with more than one name, and you have to sign in for each leg. This is for online check in only. If you are not doing online check in you need to get new boarding passes at the connecting city.
A photo ID is all you need. Your 11 year old does not need ID.
