Questions for intimate brides?

Who was/is your em for your intimate ceremony??? We were planning an intimate at the WL last year but dh2b got very sick and we had to postpone. We are looking into 2007 now. We had Jennifer O'leary and while I do not want to say anything negative I was less than thrilled and had some issues( I know she was new). So who was/is your em and did you have good or bad experiences??? TIA girls.

When I first started thinking about having a Disney wedding I spoke to Jennifer O'Leary and she was somewhat helpful. However, when I spoke to her a few months later she redirected me to Juliana Acosta as she was now doing cruiseline ceremonies. Juliana has been very helpful in helping us plan our December 2006 wedding at the WL. She has answered every question that I have thrown at her. So far so good with 6 months to go! Hope that helps.

We're currently working on a Nov 06 wedding at Castaway Cay and Jennifer is also my em. She told me that she was the person who handles cruise weddings. While she was out last week on vacation I spoke with Matthew who was covering her desk but he also confirmed that when it came to cruise weddings...Jennifer was it.

Since it has already been pointed out, I too have been less than thrilled with my dealings with Jennifer. Matthew was extremely helpful and a part of me wishes he did the job full-time. There have been times that I seem to get the "run around" and it's almost as if Jennifer doesn't know the answer and rather than just say that she tends to skirt the issue or tries to answer it without really answering it (if you know what I mean).

My planning kit is due back in June so we'll see what transpires then.

My co-ordinator is Matthew, he is really nice although i have only spoke to him once but my wedding is not until another 5 months. I had a few problems with contact; i sent him an email and had no response in 4 weeks but when i emailed him again he said that he had printed it out but it must have got back to the bottom of the pile! These things happen, they are all very busy.

matthew tends to deal full time in the "international" intimate weddings, we had him for our intimate in november. i had booked through virgin weddings dept and had a horrendous experience with them, matthew was my disney coordinator and he was great. always returned my calls, phoned me at least 3 times after we landed before the wedding. couldnt fault him, we had him in one of our photos so we could remember who helped us so much.

I had Jennifer, and she really went out of her way for me. I seem to recall in the begining I was a little worried, but as time moved on she became great. I know she was fantastic with e-mail, which was good, because I couldn't call everytime I had a question.

I also have Juliana Acosta and she has been great. She always gets back to me within a couple of days and answers all of my questions.

My co-ordinator is Karen Serrette. She has been great about getting back to me within a few days. I've also e-mailed back and forth with Rosie from floral, and she's been great about getting back to me right away as well.

Melissa, I'm glad you posted. Maybe my "less than perfect" experience thus far with Jennifer is just because I'm in the early planning stages. Maybe once I turn in my planning kit and we really "get down to business" then things will smooth out for me.

We had Karen as well and I found her to be nice and she did reply to my e-mails promptly in general. She was great the day of the wedding, helped everyone with their flowers (and my train!), directed everyone in a nice way, and really kept the Intimate wedding moving. I also loved working with Rosie! I spoke with her on the phone several times and over e-mail - she was wonderful
