Questions for former west coast cruisers.

First, I want to thank everyone for all the reports from the west coast.
You can't imagine how my family has been enjoying them. We leave
7/30 and the excitement is really building. I have a FEW questions.

1) How late is Scoops open in the evenings?
2) How late is the bar open, by the adult pool?
3) How late are the pools open, including the Mickey pool?
4) Our DIS group (who I can't WAIT TO MEET) wants to meet
at 10:00 the first evening....there are children also....do you have
a suggestion for a big group?

I'll try what I can remember.

1) How late is Scoops open in the evenings?

It reopens at 9:30 and stays open until 11PM.

2) How late is the bar open, by the adult pool?

9:30PM. Cove Cafe (which serves alcohol as well as coffee) is open until Midnight.

3) How late are the pools open, including the Mickey pool?

Mickey Pool is open until 10PM, but the slide closes at 6PM. The Goofy pool and the Adult pool is open until Midnight. The Goofy pool does close early on Pirate Night as the dance floor covers the Goofy pool.

A favorite DIS meet place is Scoops!! And since it will be open.......

On the July 2 cruise, our DISmeet happened on embarkation day at 2 pm on deck 10, overlooking the Goofy Pool. I guess you could meet at Scoops but if you had the same weather we had, it might be a bit chilly up there at 10 pm. We were lucky to have had a member of our group staying at the Roy Disney Suite so we had an adults-only party there on July 4th. Terrific!

Our 7/9 DIS meet was right after the life boat drill on deck 10at sail away. We were easy to find as 90% of us had our lime green "Prepare to be Boarded" t-shirts on. We also had a terrific party in someone's cat. 3( ) that allowed us to actually talk to each other - as the sailaway on deck 10 was kinda loud.
