Questions for brides who have already booked Escape Package!

I know they say six months prior, but when did you book? I'm really nervous that we won't get the date that we want. I'm also wondering how rooms work for the bride and groom. Is it extra or is that included in the $5,000 all inclusive.

So I guess I only really have two questions...
1) When to book to make sure we get our date?
2) Are rooms included or extra cost?

We booked a little less than 5 months out, and our date, time, and location were fine. We were originally going to have a 2:30 ceremony, but pushed it back to noon because that actually works better for us anyway. Your rooms aren't included in the package price. You can book them anywhere on property (you have to have a 4day consecutive stay, I believe, to qualify for an escape wedding).

I'm November 8 2013 at Sea Breeze point, and I booked as soon as I could, called in at 9 months to "pencil in" at the time they told me no one wanted the date or time but me we also had the contract signed in April?....interesting to hear you had it booked, makes me nervous now.

I didn't mean I booked 2:30, if that's what you meant. They told me that 2:30 was already booked and that's when we moved it to noon.

Hi,

I got engaged five months to the day of my wedding. Due to some "computer issues" at Disney, I didn't get to book for two weeks after I got engaged and with the exception of the dessert party, everything I wanted was available.

We called at 8 months and booked at 6 months out. We got everything we wanted except the time. However, the only reason we didn't get the time was because it is not offered during February.
