Questions for AKL Experts?

Can we request a coffee maker in our room at AKL? (We have at most of the other resorts, but I haven't seen any reference to this at AKL.)

They have dial up access, but I haven't used it. As CVEmom posted you can request a coffee maker at check in and they will give you a "start up" coffee service. You can either bring your own or purchase there for more coffee. It is the four cup coffee maker.

The closest resort to the AKL with high speed internet access is Cornado. They have a full access business center. The dial up is dreadfully slow if you are used to high speed. Have fun...enjoy! The AKL is awesome!
