The answer depends on how you want to book? Do you want to stay in the same villa the whole time or move from a smaller room to a larger one? If you are moving you get the DDP for each person staying in the villa for the days that they are there. You would have 2 separate reservations.

DME is arranged for by the person you are renting from.

how hard is it for the person booking to book two different reservations? we are getting the points from a friend and dont want to cause to much trouble.

for the whole reservation we want to stay in the same room. rather not move.

In that case, you will have to pay for the dining plan for EVERYONE for the whole time of the reservation. I will mean you are paying for three additional days of dining plan that the extra people will not actually be there, but you can burn those dining credits easily by booking a signature restuarant or two. The Magical Express thing is not a problem, since you can give two different arrival times and info.

If you are looking to get the free dining during this time (it has been offered in the past during this time), you won't get free dining by staying on DVC points. The only way to get free dining is to purchase a package as soon as Disney opens it up to the general public. Like Diane said, you'll need to purchase the plan for each of the four of you for the entire length of the reservation.

As everyone has sated before if you want to just have one reservation you will have to pay for everyone the whole time. You could always have two reservations then you dont have to do that and could just add them the nights they are there.

You don't. The owner whose points you are using must do that for you. DVC Member Services will not speak to a non-owner.

Again, you don't. The member will have to handle those arrangements for you as well. Although MS won't talk to you directly, there is nothing wrong with you getting on the phone with the member to explore options and be sure all your needs are taken care of. But the member has to open the conversation. Since you're using a friend's points, I'm sure that would be no problem.

As mentioned above, if you make two seperate reservations -- one for you and your Mom for three nights, and the other for all four of you for the remaining nights -- you can get DDP only for those people who need it on each day. That might mean moving from one room to another, or you might get lucky and not have to move. If you elect that option, I would plan on moving and being pleasantly surprised if you stay in the same room. Moving is pretty painless, you go to the parks and bell services moves your bags.

If you elect to just make one ressie, you will pay for DDP for all four of you for all nights of your stay. Assuming your sister is 10 or older, that would be an extra DDP cost of about $228 for the two of them for three nights they won't be there. You'll get the DDP credits of course, and you can use those for extra meals, or Signature Dining options which are 2 Table Service credits per meal instead of one. Unfortunately, six doesn't go into four very well, so you'll have to work that out -- maybe send Mom and Dad out to a nice 2 TS meal by themselves.

thanks. we will probly just book the extra 3 days of the ddp. this allows us to try some restaurants that we never would try. we have been a lot of times and love it more everytime. always like a new experience. thanks again.
