Questions and encouragement needed.

I'm doing our fastpass tomorrow morning for our upcoming trip. I've never done fastpasses for 6 people. Usually it's just the 3 of us going. I've got a rough draft done. Guess I just don't need to stress to much. I've done this plenty of times but never had such a large party to plan for.

Questions I have:

I know Matter doesn't have a meet and greet anymore, Do they have a statue or the big Icon of Matter at Art of Animation?

Can I get fastpasses yet for Na'Vi River? If I'm correct this is the one that my nephew can ride (42").

I'm struggling with what time to start our fastpasses. I want them early enough so we can get more later. Just don't want them right at park opening because we'll try and get one or two rides in before them. We'll be at each park at rope drop.

Can someone tell me how the new opeing at Magic Kingdom is going?

Yes. My 60 day window was Saturday and there were tons of times for the Flights of Passage, so I would assume there would be a bunch for the river too

We typically shoot for starting our FPs at 10:30sih.

Yes, you can take pics with him at the Art of Animation. He is in the very back of the Radiator Springs area.

Pandora doesn't open until the end of May, so as long as your trip is within 60 days of today, you should be able to book them.

& I had the same issue with wanting to book FP early too but not too early. I usually start mine between 10:00 - 11:00. That way if even if we get to the parks later than expected, we can catch the end of the time slot. Also if you book two FP back to back, if you arrive toward the end of one, you can immediately head on to the next attraction you have a FP for.

& openings at MK are VERY crowded. Get there as early as you can... like 8:15 if you want to rope drop.

I typically try to get ours stacked 10;11;12 and I use the first one whenever. The second one toward the end of the window and the third when at the beginning. That way I can start getting more around 12:15. Works like a charm for us. The thing with the extra FP+ to remember is to see what's there and makes sense with your ride desires. If one is available grab it for the next available slot. You can get several additional throughout the day using this strategy.

Don't stress too much...whatever you do not get FP+ for you can try and do right at RD.
We always RD the rides we love most and start our FP+ right after lunch.

I shoot for getting my first FP of the day usually for 10 - 11 or 10:30 - 11:30. Generally, I'll use the first one towards the end of it's window, then the 2nd one right away. Then I'll either do some stuff in between and use 3rd right at beginning of window, OR we will get lunch after 2nd, and use 3rd towards the end of it's window.

Thanks everyone again for the help. I got everything we wanted, maybe a little off from the times but close enough. I know I could try and change the times but with 6 people I don't want to chance it. They are close to the times we wanted. Example: Soarin, wanted 10-11 got 9:40-10:40.

That sounds perfect. You will have time to go ride standby once, then maybe do living with the land and use the restrooms before using your FP for a 2nd ride

We will be at rope drop so hoping to head straight to Test Track and then head over for our Soarin FP.
