Is this legit? Has anyone completed one of the offers and actually gotten their gift card? If so, how long did it take after completing the offer before you received your gift card?

We are traveling to three different locations around the state of Florida and I'm considering purchasing a couple of different Entertainment books (using DH's email address for one, and my own email address for the other). Can I do this?

I could use a Blockbuster card since we frequent that place quite a bit.

I joined Doubleday book club through them and should be getting a $50 Krispy Kreme G/C soon. It takes a long time though, so if you are anticipating your gift card within a month or two, it probably won't get there in time. I think it takes upwards of 4 months from the time you order something until the card actually arrives. I had to wait for Doubleday to let yourgiftcard know that I became a member. Then weeks later, I could print out a redemption certificate to mail to CA, then it's supposedly another 6-8 weeks until it will arrive. After all that, it better arrive, although I don't know what I'll to with the G/C! I will probably save it until one of my kids has a function at school that they need to bring goodies to!
 
my experience (so far ;) ):
~ opted for $50 CostCo GC through YourGiftCards on 4/16
~ clicked through Simply Yours ~ aka DealPass ~ w/"free" $25 LNT GC (rec'd pop-up for an additional $25 L&T when i started to chicken out :) )
~ rec'd 1st month free of SimplyYours ($14.95 mth thereafter). fyi, i ordered Q&C vouchers, a subscription to readers digest (free), some sports authority & macy's $25 GC's (pay $25 for GC, receive $5 rebate on each, takes about a month to get $5 credited back, & you MUST be a member at time of rebate)

~ have received & mailed back (promptly!) 2 postcards to "verify" my L&T GC's
~ rec'd $50 CostCo GC fullfillment activation certificate today (6/1) from YourGiftCards, which must be mailed to CA (said will receive GC within 6-8 weeks).

sooooooooo, it is a long process to get the GC's, but according to many ppl on FatWallet, they do come (& i like ~ & have used ~ many of the offers on SimplyYours.

I sgned up with YourGiftCards.com last summer for a 100.00 GC to Walmart and I just knew that it was a hoax. After waiting about 4 months for everything to go through and be verified, I received my GC and it was well worth it!
 
What exactly is this yourgiftcard.com that everyone is talking about. I feel like I am missing out on something here.....

the co (yourgiftcards.com) receives revenue when someone signs up for the offers from their "sponsers".
yourgiftcards.com, in turn, gives you a GC.
kind of like mypoints, ebates, stockback, etc, where you shop through them, & they in turn, give you $'s or "points" that are redeemable for GC's (norm a % of your purchase, some give for "visiting" websites, taking polls, etc).
if you are interested in signing up for mypoints, ebates, etc, please PM me, as they offer a referral "bonus".
yougiftcards does not have a "referral program", but, of course, you could PM me (or post) if you want more info on any of them.

I got a $50 VISA gift card for joining Netflix. It was legit and easy money. I still belong to netflix (that is until my special promotion rate runs out).
 
I am having nothing but one big headache from yourgiftcards.com.

It's a long story, but to make it short, I completed two offers through their website. Seen the transaction "in progress" in my account with them, then they disappeared along with my account. One of the offers I responded to but the doubleday bookclub and I have already received my books.

I called them and the woman I spoke with was clueless. I emailed customer support (JOhn H) and he told me to fax him the confirmation emails from the two companies I did business with, which I did TWICE because I didn't get a response the first time. He finally responded that I have to deal with the companies and not yourgiftcards. He doesn't get what I am asking. What about the giftcard that yourgiftcard promises? I should add his email was none too polite either.

I think someone deleted my account on their end and they don't want to admit the mistake. GRRRrrr.

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones with this company.
