Questions about WL transportation

I know that there are buses and a boat, but where does the boat go? I thought it went to MK, but the I read on one of these threads that it goes to the Contemporary, so I'm a little confused.

Also, do the buses run to the parks themselves or to TTC?

Hi there

There's 2 boats leaving from WL (one w/ a blue flag and the other w/ a green flag-I forgot which goes to which . One going only to Contemporary and another going to Fort Wilderness and then MK.

The buses does not go to TTC. The different buses goes to Epcot, MGM, DTD, BB, AK, etc. (Some makes stops at Fort Wilderness or GF before going directly to the park).

There are two boat launches at WL one goes to the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness and the other goes directly to MK. Buses go to the other parks with stops at Fort Wilderness and/or Contemporary to pick up more passengers. We were there a couple of weeks ago and the kids really wanted to ride the monorails so when we left Epcot we got on the monorail there, switched to the MK resort monorail to the Contemporary, then took the boat to WL. It was not quicker, but more enjoyable. Just something to think about.

Yup!!

2 different boats. The larger one goes WL/FW/MK (any order). The smaller one (runs 7am - 10pm) goes WL/FW/CR (any order).

When we had a early PS at Cindy's, we took the small boat to CR & mono to MK. We also loved taking the smaller boat to CR for the Concourse Steakhouse or to FW for Trails End.

Buses go to all the parks. There is also a bus to TTC (making it really easy to get to the resturants at the Poly or GF).

I really LOVED all the wonderful transportation options from WL!

Thanks for the info! I'm not even sure that we'll be staying at WL...it will depend on whether or not there are good discounts available (crossing fingers here). But the transportation sounds great...we plan to do Chef Mickey's on the evening of our arrival, and the boat from WL to CR sounds like a great way to start our vacation...
