Hello!
We receieved a wedding invitation (follow-up to that bridal shower invitation that was so misleading!) in the mail. I know I have come across the "etiquettely correct" answers for these types of things. I am just to exhausted- going on 5 hours sleep here- that I don't want to leaf through pages of the things I'm not looking for on Google. I know you can help!
Two questions:
1) The RSVP card is simply a 5x5 (or thereabouts) card with The Favour Of A Reply Is Requested By The Tenth Of March at the top. We will be attending. What's the etiquettely correct wording to let them know our intentions?
2) Reception is "Black-Tie Preferred" for a four o'clock start wedding, no time is given for the reception start. It's at the Naval Academy Chapel and the reception is at one of the ritzier locations on the Yard. The Chapel in itslef kind of dictates a certain dress- incredibly ginormous and incredibly formal. More of a cathedral than a chapel...
The groom wore a dark suit to our "Black Tie Encouraged." Should we be renting a tuxedo or dry cleaning Brye's dark blue or charcoal suit? It's an April 1st wedding.
Thank you!
xoxo
