Is this forum primarily for weight loss, or is it also a good forum for exercise and training?

I don't have a weight problem, but I've been heavily into working out and weight training in the last 9 months or so, and would love to talk to others more so about exercise and weight training than recipies and weight loss. I was just curious about this forum is all.

I think it's great that there IS a forum like this, no matter what the major goal of it is. Good luck guys!
 
Welcome!! WISH stands for We're Inspired to Stay Healthy - so yes, you are definitely welcome, even though you're not trying to lose weight.

Unfortunately, most of the rest of us here are trying to lose weight - but I for one, once I reach my goal, will be joining you in ongoing health and maintenance! :D
 
I hope you'll join us Adrianna! You are at your healthy goal weight and continue to work on keeping you body fit. That is what the goal of WISHers is. Most of us just have a little bit of a weight hurdle to overcome on our way. Maybe you could be our fitness trainer by providing some extra inspiration in this area for us. Feel free to start a seperate training thread -- maybe with weekly challenges for WISHers to commit to. I bet you'll get a terrific response.

Welcome to WISH. The majority of topics are about weight issues. There is a Excercise thread each day (one for the weekend) where you can post if you exercised. Most of us are working on just getting started in moving. I have been faithfully working out now for over a month. I do the FIRM tapes 3 times a week. They are a mix of cardio and weight training. I have really noticed a difference since I started. I also do Walk away the pounds 3 mile with weights and a 4 mile with weight tapes 4 times a week.

Maybe you could inspire us, we would love to have you around!
