Questions about theme nights

Thinking about a cruise and when I looked at the dates, it appears that a Star Wars Day at Sea is on the agenda. Now does everyone dress up? If you don't do you really stick out? What special stuff goes on that day?

Some people will have very elaborate costumes. Others will not view this cruise any differently than a non-SWDAS cruise. You will not stick out if you do not dress up.

I'm still pondering a cruise that includes that, and I can 100% guarantee you I will be dressed like a normal person. And probably spend the day in my cabin and go to Palo for dinner. I really hate that there are ZERO non Star Wars cruises from January through April on the Fantasy. Last year they did every other week, and that at least was fair to those of us who don't want to be subjected to the crazy. This year we have no option for the Fantasy.

I enjoy Star Wars and I agree that that the Star Wars days are on every cruise. Seems that it looses the "special" aspect.

Yes you will find many folks in costumes, some so elaborate that you can't tell if they are a disney character or a passenger. Everything turns Star Wars wish for the day, even the food and drinks. They have many meet n greets and shows that are star wars themed thru out the day, and last year they just had random characters roaming around the boat, and even had Storm Troopers storming the pool looking for rebel spies. I dressed in my normal clothes, maybe I had a star wars t-shirt on, and didn't feel out of place. I loved just watching all the characters and passengers, and it was tons of fun!! I guess if you weren't a Star Wars fan it may feel a little overwhelming, but we loved it!!
