I haven't cruised in a few years and am hoping for one last cruise on the vintage Wonder over New Years. I know they changed some of my favorite parts of the Magic during her last dry dock. Is Secret Deck 7 still there on the Wonder? Is Parrot Cay still there or has it been remodeled into Carioca's? Are the aft staircases still available (they extended from deck 5 all the way up to 9, actually started on Deck 4 but those were only open during the safety drill exiting into Animator's Palate)? What are the stage shows on the Wonder? Wishing they would bring back Hercules but I know that isn't happening, but desperately hoping that Disney Dreams is still playing. If anyone has recent Navigators for the Wonder I would love to see them. Our cruise is a 7 day and since it is over a holiday I think it may not follow the routine schedule but it would at least give me an idea of the activities. Thanks

Yes, secret deck is still there. I think it's mostly used for weddings and such. Not sure it's still accessible to anyone.

Yes Parrot Cay is still there. Not Carioca's yet (if it's going to be)

Don't know about the aft staircases.

Shows: Golden Mickeys, Toy Story, Disney's Dreams

Have you checked http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ for recent Navigators? Be aware that the most recent ones are the Alaska cruises and they did Frozen (and maybe Pixar) stuff. Those aren't typically available on the "regular" Wonder cruises.

Luvthatcruise, you seem to love many of the very same things I do about the Wonder! I've seen pix of Carioca's on the Magic and it just looks….meh. Hopefully in reality it looks better. I've always found Parrot Cay charming and have enjoyed our meals there as much as any other MDR on any of the DCL ships. The Classic ships are my favorite too. Have fun on your cruise! Nice that Shmoo knows so many details for you! :)

There was no issue using the 'secret' Deck 7 in Alaska. I intensely dislike Parrot Cay- it is so noisy, table conversation is impossible and there is no air circulation in the back. I was assured many complaints had been noted and would be addressed in the re-design.

Thank you all for your replies. I want one last cruise on this vintage version of the ship with my kids. Wish it could be the Magic but the Wonder will do. Our whole family hates the updates in the parks and on the cruise and I was clinging to hope that the Wonder was still mostly vintage.

The staterooms have been updated (higher bed, new carpet, new couch) but most of the Wonder is still vintage. One thing that they have changed is Shutters. They now have all your pictures in the books instead of just on the wall.

I am very much looking forward to our cruise on the Wonder next month for the same reasons as OP. I love Parrot Cay!!! We have done a few cruises on the "new" Magic and I do still love the Magic but I am not a real fan of Carioca's. It is just meh....just not visually exciting to me and it seems just as loud as Parrot Cay was.

They do still have the aft staircases and Beach Blanket Buffet, and the double staircases in the atrium. I loved sailing away from Vancouver on Secret Deck 7 when we did our Alaskan cruise in 2011. Can't wait to get back onboard!!!

We'll be on the Wonder for the first time in December. Where is this secret deck?

We also love the Wonder and are praying they do not change her as much as they did the Magic. We have sailed her 4 times and will be back on her next month and her last cruise in 2016 before she goes into dry dock. We love Parrot Cay and while it could do with some touch-ups, I really hope they do not replace it (love to hear the birds as you walk towards the entrance). I will say Shutters is way better than it use to be. It is very well organized and you no longer have to hunt for your photos. Have a wonderful cruise, the Wonder is a beautiful ship.

When does she go on dry dock?

We are sailing on her in January to the Southern Caribbean. Will she still be Vintage then? Or does she do the October Dry Dock thing this year?

I am so totally out of of the cruise loop. I was hoping the dry dock was coming after her time in Galveston. But I guess it's possible it will be before. Does anyone have information on the dates of the next dry dock?

No confirmation yet. But there is a long gap between her scheduled itineraries in September 2016. So the general opinion is that this will be the dry dock time.

The second video says there is one on the Magic too. Is that still correct?
Do you mean the secret deck? No, on the Magic the space was taken away for necessary mechanics for the new water play area where the Mickey pool used to be.
