What time should we make reservations for dinner if we want to see the parade and fireworks at night? It will be for 7 adults.

Is there anywhere I can find a menu or pricing for the Crystal Palace?

Would you recommend this place over the other buffets for dinner?

For menu and pricing, we all recommend www.allearsnet.com

As for your other questions, I can't really answer as I haven't been yet. We're planning on CP for our character breakfast in January.

We have eaten at Crystal Palace for lunch and at Chef Mickeys and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner.

We liked Crystal Palace the best, it had the best food and atmosphere. (None of the buffets are gourmet of course so keep that in mind.) We are planning to go for dinner on our first night this summer. :) However, if your kids are big Mickey and Minnie fans, Chef Mickeys is the place to go. My kids love Pooh and friends so they had a great time. I would rank Liberty Tree Tavern last.

I would give yourself at least 1 1/2 hours to eat at Crystal Palace, just to make sure you get to meet all of the characters. Also, even though we had a PS, we waited a good 15-20 minutes to sit down there for lunch. It is not a quick meal. Not sure when you are going, but if the parade starts at 9 pm, I would schedule a 6:30 pm reservation, so that you have time to get a good seat to watch the parade.

Have fun!

We are big fans of CP. Excellent food - nice variety and everything always seems fresh.

The $100K question always is when are you going - holiday season, or during slower time. We have 6:30 reservations for the end of the month with 8:00 parade and 9:00 fireworks. I think this is more than enough time to eat and grab a spot on the street to watch the parade. But if it was holiday season I know the restaurant would be busier and spots to watch the parade harder to find.

I anticipate we will be out of there in an hour, but with 7 adults do you want more of a leisurely pace? As with most buffets, you pretty much set the pace of the meal (after you are seated).

As an aside, we have watched the fireworks outside of CP on their patio facing the castle after eating.

We had dinner reservations at 6:30 for a party of 4, we were early arriving (6:00) they seated us within 5-10 minutes, so early. However food was less than stellar. Cold food, empty dishes, just not very good in general. Probably the worst food of the week. Its also very caotic, noisy, etc. Dont get me wrong, I have 2 little kids myself and children dont bother me at all. But it was just not very relaxing. We were out of there in an hour or so for the parade at 8:00 and fireworks at 9:00.
