Does anyone know if its true that they dont have any charactors at Cape May Cafe breakfast anymore?

Also, is it true they have a resident alligator that lives in the pond in the Beach Club Villas?? - please say no!

Oh dear Jo I don't know if you're gonna like what I'm gonna tell you:

They do have characters at Cape May for breakfast - Goofy, Chip and Dale and Minnie at certain times during the morning. Where did you hear different?

The Alligator certainly was true, friends of mine stayed at BCV in December last year and could see it in the canal I think it was. But I'm sure if it's still there Disney have their eye on it.

Joanne I would not worry too much about the villagator. ALL large waterways in florida have a gator in them....if they move 1 out another takes their place. Disney keep a very close eye on the size of their gators and move them when they are becoming a little large.
When staying at Coronado Springs Resort last year I saw (and filmed ) their gator and had a long chat to the CMs there about him.

There was an baby alligator alive and well and living in the lagoon at the Beach Club this May.

He was a cute small baby, and the lagoon was about a 12 feet drop from the walkway, so there was no way he could have got out. He was also accompanied by a turtle, we loved being able to see them both from our balcony, and always stopped to look on the way past.

:)
