Questions about the Annual Pass Monthly Payment Plan

I live in Northern California so as I understand it, I can pay for an annual pass using a monthly payment plan which would be preferred for me. Questions:
1. If I buy a flex pass with Maxpass, how much is the down payment and how much is the monthly payment? I assume there are no interest payments or anything.
2. Does it automatically charge my credit card each month or do I have to do something annoying like mail in a check every month? If it's not automatic, I'm afraid of missing payments and being forced to pay late fees.
3. Do I just set this up at the normal ticket booths or do I need to do something special?
4. Will showing a California drivers license be sufficient to prove residency or do I need to bring print outs of bank statements and bills or something?

1. Down payment is a 1 day ticket price. You can put down more to lower your monthly payment. Your monthly payment will be the remaining balance divided by 12. The first monthly payment will come out 2 days later, so be prepared.
2. Yes, automatic.
3. You can do it at the ticket booths.
4. Yes, usually just having the credit card with a valid CA zip code works.

If you miss a payment (like your CC got stolen and closed and you forgot to change it with Disney), you’ll get a sternly worded email and the pass is not valid/also removed from your app. I got held once at entry and had to go to main plaza to sort it out.
