The day we will be at SeaWorld the Miracles show is at 7:30pm and the Winter Wonderland Ice Show is at 6:30pm and 8:30pm and then the fireworks is at the same Stadium at 9pm right afterward.

We are trying to decide which would be better planning since it will be Jan. 1st and I'm sure the park will be very busy. Should we go to the 6:30 Ice show and hope to have enough time to get to Miracles at 7:30 or should we skip Miracles and just go to the 8:30 Ice show and then hang around for the fireworks? Do they let you stay in the stadium after the 8:30 show and wait for the fireworks or do you have to exit and get in line again?

Any suggestions how to plan our first night? We will be returning the next day so hopefully we'll get to see the other shows but was wondering which itinerary for the first night makes more sense.

Unlike other stadiums, shamu stadium and the bayside stadium are a close distance from each other. So it is possible to make both shows. I would suggest going to the 7:30 miracles and then go to the 8:30 ice show. The fireworks follow right as the ice show ends. With there being only 1 miracles show for the night, I imagine alot of people would be in the same position as you. Shamu staduim will be full and not many people will be at bayside. At the end of miracles, you will pretty much be heading over to bayside as a giant group so I wouldnt worry about getting a good seat for the ice/fireworks show. But I would watch both shows. Its worth it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Come to think of it now you are right....most people will be at the Shamu Stadium since there is only one show that night. If I remember correctly from our visit several years ago those two stadiums are quite large so hopefully we won't have a problem getting a seat at the ice show afterward.

You shouldnt have a problem. And to answer your other question, no they do not make you exit the stadium and get back in line for the fireworks show. The fireworks show literally starts 10 seconds after the ice show ends.

You may also want to check the show schedule online, and also again when you get to the park and at times during the day. If the park is super busy, they may add a show.

We did just this on Christmas evening so I know it can be done. Actually we did the Clyde and Seamore Christmas show, then walked over to Shamu stadium (just about everyone walked over as a group) watched Miracles, then again exited the stadium and walked over as a large mass to BaySide stadium for the ice skating show and the fireworks. As others have mentioned, the fireworks show starts immediately after the ice skating has ended.

We did have fairly lengthy waits for the shows to begin, (25+ minutes) but you really have to be there that early as the stadiums filled completely. At the Clyde and Seamore show they have a funny mime pre-show. At Shamu stadium they prompt the words to common Christmas songs on screens so that people can sing along and then have a Sax player do a few songs to occupy the crowd before the show begins. However the BaySide stadium one was tedious. They had a group called the Tuba-dors (sp?), they were 3 tuba players doing Christmas songs and the leader had some spiel about Christmas presents under the tree that he tried to lead the song titles off with, but the whole thing was just....well not my cup of tea is the nicest way to put it (plus the sound system had some weird high pitched squeak going on).

Thanks for all the information. Guess we'll try to see the 6:30 Clyde and Seamore Show or have dinner depending on when lunch was. Have to keep our strength up this vacationing is tough!!! :yay: After we'll head to Miracles for 7:30 and finally the 8:30 Ice Show and Fireworks. I hope they'll still have the Christmas Decorations up till New Year's as I'm sure the park must look nice.
