Two questions about selling off our points :sad1:

1. Do you have to sell the whole contract or can you split it?
For example if I have 100 points in my contract can I sell just 50 of them and keep the other 50/

2. What happens if you have a part year's points left when you sell. For example, I have used 50 of my 100 points for the year then sell my contract. Is the resale price calculated taking these "extra" points into account or do they come into the equation separately somehow?

POints must be sold by contract. A 100 point contract remains a 100 point contract.

1. Only Disney can break up a contract. You'd have to sell the entire contract.

2. If you sold with points remaining, those would go to the new owner. Any reservations you had at the time of closing would be cancelled unless you delayed closing by agreement to complete your upcoming stay. You could increase your selling price if you had available points. Most sellers don't decrease their selling price when they have used all the current year points and borrowed lots or all of the next year. That's called a stripped contract. But a savvy buyer might negotiate the price down based on the stripped contract.
