Questions about Renting

1.We rented points from a DVC member who is a friend of a friend. He made the Reservation in his name. How does this get changed to me? I am so paranoid that when I show up for my stay my room will not be available to me. 2. Also we are flying so we need to use the ME. Do you have to have reservations for this also?? We leave Disney on a Friday, but are flight out is not till Saturday. 3. Can we take ME back to the airport and catch a shuttle to our other hotel?? I'm sure I have other questions, but they aren't coming to me right now. Thanks for your help.

The reservation should be made in your name. The member will receive a confirmation letter in your name and should be able to send that to you.

You will be able to use DME, but the member will also need to make that reservation for you. Yes, you can ride ME back to the airport - just make those arrangements thru the member from whom you are renting. You could also add the DDP if desired, but the member will also need to make that request for you thru DVC Member Services.

Thanks for your help. I have a confirmation sheet, but it is in the owners name. I will have to get in touch with him to get it changed. Boy am I glad that I sort of know this person, or this all could be a nightmare!!!!
