Questions about Peppa Pig World

I live in the US and our toddler loves watching Peppa Pig as well as Mickey Mouse. We will be visiting family in the UK next year, and I was wondering if a day trip to Peppa Pig World (PPW) in the Salisbury area would be worthwhile. We have family near London and in Southampton, so it would not be that much out of the way.

So I was wondering:
What ages does the park appeal to?
Are there other rides in Paulson's Park (Peppa Pig World is part of this?) that a toddler would enjoy?
Is there a fee for parking?
Is there an easy way to get there if we decide not to rent a car or kidnap an unsuspecting relative? Such as a bus?
Can you bring food in?

And please feel free to tell me anything you think I should know about this park. I won't be offended if you think this is a terrible idea - my child won't find out if you don't like Peppa. And who knows, he may be on to something different by then.

I haven't been to this park for many years so can't comment on Peppa Pig World but when my daughters were young we used to visit there at least once every summer since my eldest reached approx 18 months and my daughters used to go see Father Christmas at the winter Wonderland every year courtesy of their Brownie pack.

In answer to your questions -

it's a lovely family park but especially for under tens

here's the website so you can see what other rides/attractions there are

parking is free

if you don't come by car it's easy to get there by bus

yes, there are some lovely picnic spots throughout the park

If you're going to be staying in the Southampton area I think it's well worth a visit, even if your little one has lost interest in Peppa by then! Depending on how long you're going to be staying in the area you might also want to consider visiting Marwell Zoo too :)

I haven't been yet myself but I know people who have and they've had a great day out.

We went about 3 years ago with dd4 and dd1. We had a great time. We actually never made it into the main park, we just stayed with Peppa. I'm not sure how we managed that as there isn't that many things in that area! They were young though and it was their first time at a theme park so we didn't rush. The rides in the Peppa area are very gentle, nothing scary. The area is nicely themed and prices weren't too bad in the park. Can't say about transport as we drove 2hrs to get there. Hope to go again soon so dd1 (now dd4) can remember it.

Hi there. Hope this reply isn't too late.

We've been to visit peppa the last 2 years with my son . He was 3 and 4 when we went. When he was 3 all we did was peppa, when he was 4 he was more interested in the rest of the park. There are no big "headliner" rides so the park doesn't attract teens and older children, this makes it a great family place! He loves the log flume and the carousel. There are some lovely gardens to walk round too. There's a lovely train that goes round, there is also a great tractor ride. I thi k you'll find lots and lots to do both in the peppa bit and outside of the peppa hub! We find the peppa bit gets manic but the rest is pretty much just walk on to the rides.its well worth a visit. In answer to your questions
Yes there's lots for toddlers outside of peppa
No there is no fee to park
There is busses but it is a long (long) walk from the bus stop so I would advise getting someone to drop you off at the gate at least of they don't want to stay
Yes you can take food in

We have visited a lot of parks in th uk as children, adults and now a family and I'll admit Poulton park is a favourite. As I said, no big rides means no groups of teens etc hanging about. It's a lovely family park and very well done.

Hope this has helped!

Thank you everyone! Laura, it is not too late, since we are looking at going next year. It sounds like a lovely place.
