Questions about Palo's

By reading these boards, I always thought that Palo's was a dinner-only spot. However, I just noticed a post regarding brunch.

So, that leads me to ask, What meals does Palo's serve? If we want to go to brunch, do I have to do the "mad dash" for the reservation desk, similar to dinner reservations? Is it $5.00 per person for the brunch?

Any tips, opinions, etc would be wonderful!

Brunch is $10/pp and yes, run for reservations. We got to the reservations desk about 1:30 pm and were able to get a dinner spot without much trouble but we were waitlisted for brunch and never made it off the list. Dinner, by the way, was spectacular-- best food we had on the whole cruise!

Palo's also does a "High Tea" on certain afternoons; I believe it is $5 pp. A nice diversion, I expect, but not really an opportunity to experience Palo's fine food.

Hi Tea is only available on the Magic.

Brunch is on the Magic and 4-day Wonder, but only on days at sea.

I'll tell you that on our first 2 or 3 cruises on DCL we did not bother with Palo, after all, we really enjoyed the restaurants and our servers-- who wanted an adults only restaurant?? But now, once we discovered it, wow! It is worth any wait for a few minutes in line to reserve that brunch or dinner and any extra service charge to pay for tips for those servers. We prefer the brunch so that we do our regular dinner rotation, but it is a great experience and should not be missed!
