Hi, my DH and I just made a decision last night to go back to WDW parks this year (great New Year's Resolution!!). We went on cruise in 2003, and haven't been following the park boards recently. We are trying to decide between two different timings to visit - either Oct 16-24 or Nov 6-14. I see by the calendar that Nov 11 is Veterans Day - is this a busy time or vacation timing in US (we're Canadian so not sure of US holidays!). Will Nov still be good swimming pool weather - kids love to swim. Our previous trips to parks have all been in Sept when it was very hot and humid, but I think Oct and Nov still have nice weather? Does anyone have any opinions of whether Oct 16-24 or Nov 6-14 would be better timing - ie good weather, low attendance? Thanks, Jo::MinnieMo

I've never been during the time period that you are mentioning, but I think that "jersey week" is sometime during the November span. I understand that the New Jersey school system has wide-spread breaks during the first part of November, and therefore, attendance is up at WDW during that time. I would pick the October time period. It should still be warm enought for swimming, and it is also when Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party is.
