Michelle sweetie - I can't speak for Beaute Speciale, as I had Patricia, but I took nothing as Patricia supplied everything.
As for the eyelashes, Patricia offered a choice of natural or more dramatic.
My daughter had the dramatic look
I am older, and a bit of a coward and I went for the more natural look.
We both loved them, and they really enhance your eyes in the photos. They stayed put for about 2 days after the VR.
I loved the eyelashes and thought that they were well worth the money (I think $10.00)
yes, they will bring everything - even leave you a little lip color in case you need to reapply - which i never did which is weird!! they will bring everything and the lashes are a must IMHO! they are individual lashes so you won't look like charo (not that that would be a bad thing ) but it looks great in pictures as well!
heres a (hopefully not monstrous) picture of me before i put my dress on - now for the wedding i actually didn't wear extra lashes because i latisse-ed mine and they were ginrmously long! in this pic, i look like i have the most make up on of the whole day, being a bit of a close up, but everything came out really nice and "natural" but waaayyyyyy better!
I booked Beaute speciale too and I'm going with the lashes. Thanks for asking because I've been nervous about them too. I've seen too many people who use the Walgreens brand DIY lashes that come off and stick back onto the eyelid. Yikes! I'm glad to hear that these ones stay put nicely.
If you want anything in your hair (like rhinestones or whatever) bring them. I had Jackie from Beaute Speciale - she was excellent! I didn't go with lashes, but I wanted something in my hair and brought a variety of things. Jackie used what we thought were best for the style I was going for.
Another option for lashes are Lash Extensions. I am allergic to Laitesse (sp) and my experience with false lashes has not been positive, so I went with the extensions. Loved them! $100 and worth every penny.
Howdy darlin! I'm a wedding consultant and vintage stylist and I can tell you firsthand that lashes are either hit or miss with brides. If you choose not to do them and are unfamiliar w/ the feeling of false lashes, go with a volumizing waterproof mascara which I'm sure she'll have available. If you do want to try falsies, try a half band of lashes or only a few individual lashes placed at the outer corners only. This will give you that 'Disney Princess' doe-eyed effect that everyone loves!! Have a good'n!
Had Beaute Speciale for our wedding and they were great. Also had the lashes which felt odd at first but once the glue dried I barely noticed them. They went on at 4AM and stayed on until I took them off at 10pm!!
One thing is if you don't pre-pay, they only accept cash the day of!!!! Had to wake the now DH to run to the ATM for more cash!
