This will be our first time at Universal. I just reserved a King Suite at RPH for Dec. Are these all located on Club Level or would I need to specifically reserve that? I know I should have asked when i called but forgot. What kind of view can I expect from this type of room or will they vary? thanks

You're correct, a king suite on club level would have to be specifically reserved as club level costs more. I'm not even certain if there are king suites on club level but I'm certain someone here will definitely know that. But I do know for a fact that king suites are on other levels as I've stayed in one and it wasn't on club level.

Yes, the views will vary. I always ask for a view of anything other than interstate or parking lot and have always been pleased with the room I ended up in. :)

I had just done the same thing yesterday and had assumed the suite was club level. I called the hotel just now and they said none of the King Suites at RPH are Club Level. So, I changed to a King Club level room at the AAA rate and requested waterview. You may want to call the hotel directly and see what options you have if you need more space - 1-888-273-1311. Good luck!

King Suites at RPR can be found on each floor including Club Level. The CL suites would be more expensive.
