questions about Hotel Royal Plaza

We are planning a trip(our first) 11/03-11/09 this year. saw good rates on Hotel Royal Plaza on mousaver.com. What can you tell me about the hotel. Kid friendly? Good transportation to parks? Worth the $? We've narrowed it down Royal, All stars, or Port Orleans and need some advice as to which way to go.

Hello,
I believe Mary on Mousesavers that The Hotel Royal Plaza is a nice hotel (recently remodeled) and a good deal. The location is good but I don't know about the transportation.
I strongly believe that there's nothing like staying on-site and I would stay at any of the moderates before I would stay off-site. We like The Caribbean Resort best, Coronado Springs least, French Quarter more than Riverside. We've never stayed at one of the AllStar resorts.
