We arenow seriously thinking about booking here for our first visit to DLP. But could some1 help me with a few questions?

Where are all the rooms located ? IS it a far walk to them thru the "town"? Is there lots of noise at night ? Do you have to pre-book dinner or is it usually OK (we will be there 14th April 2008) ? The entertianment at night - can you easily find a seat or do you have to book ?

Popping this on to its' own thread as you'll probably get lots of replies :)

The rooms are located in separate buildings which on the outside look like a western town :)

I have another question:

Do all rooms have 1 bed and 2 bunk beds?

some of the rooms are closer than others. All have pros and cons - one may be closer to the bus stop, another near reception, another closer to walk in to Disneyland etc. We were in Wyatt Earp which is near the bus stop and across from reception. the most you'll have to walk is 3 minutes.
There is a seperate desk from reception - an information desk - where you can book lunch and dinner but you reserve your breakfast times at reception.
I think it's better to book evening meals just to be sure, but if you don't book, the buffet at plaza gardens is cheap and yummy and usually has places.

AFAIK all rooms at Cheyenne have 1 queen size and bunkbeds, I have never heard anyone report anything different.

By "town", do you mean Disney Village ? if so it's about a 15/20minute walk from Cheyenne through the village to the park gates and it's a very ncie walk.
The only real night time entertainment is the Buffalo Bill show in the village and you do need tickets, we've always prebooked ours although I imagine it's possible to buy them there.
Prebooking meals, some people do and some don't, if you are intending to eat at Cafe Mickey, then prebooking is essential or you'll face a long queue.

We've had three types of room at the Cheyenne:

1 Queen + 1 Bunk bed
2 Doubles + 1 cot (didn't need it then!)
2 Doubles

They actually gave us the choice when we visited last month.

We've never been troubled by noise while staying at the Cheyenne - usually too tired to stay awake and I'm a light sleeper.
