Questions about getting luggage to cabins

O.K. some luggage questions here! LOL We stayed in the cabins this past March and loved it so we are planning on staying there again next April. We had a rental car this past trip however, I am not sure if we will bother renting one next April. SO, how do you get your luggage to the cabins? Do we bring it into the check in area and they deliver it? If we choose to have a towncar service will they be allowed to drive us to our cabin? We are planning on splitting out stay this time between the cabins and BW villa's......will they deliver it to the Boardwalk for us? How/where do we take our luggage at check out?

We may end up renting a car as it is SO convenient but it depends on how much money we have saved by then! LOL

When we last stayed in the cabins (2000), luggage service delivered our luggage from the check-in. We took a Mears shuttle from MCO, so I can't answer about the car service; however, you would have to have the car service wait for you to check in, and assuming your cabin was immediately ready, it would probably still be too long for a hired driver to wait. But that's just a guess. Also, there is a security gate to get through, and you need your activated resort guest id to get though it, so I don't think it would be allowed.

Honestly, I remember checking in, taking the bus to the Settlement area, and having lunch at Trail's End. By the time we were done and took the bus back, our luggage had been delivered!

They have shuttle vans that will take you and your luggage to your cabin after you check in. When we went in February there were probably 10 families ahead of us, we waited about 45 minutes before it was our turn to check in. Our cabin was ready so we went back outside to sit in the sunshine until the van came - only took about 10 minutes more.

How about the luggage transfer to the BWI? Any experience with that?

Don't know about the luggage but I did want to say that we were there in May and the security gate with the key access has been removed.

I would like to stop at the grocery store do they have a way of storing items that need refridgeration if my cabins not ready?

Can i ship a box to FW like i've done on previous trip to other Disney Hotels?
