Hi all,

I have scanned through the postings and read through the big thread on the Grand. Hope it's OK to ask some more questions!

First, has anyone used the childcare -- Pinochhio's workshop I think? We will be there in August and I was thinking of booking my kids there while DH and I go to Napa Rose for our anniversary (will post separately w/ NR questions!) My kids will be 8 and 11 and we would try to book a 5:30 seating for the restaurant. Was PW fun for your kids? Well run? Dinner served?

Also, if you had a family of 4 in a standard room, what room area would you request and why? I don't think we want the bunk beds. I looked through the big thread, but am still flummoxed as to where the rooms are.

Finally, do all the rooms have fridges and DVD players?

Many thanks!

Hi all,

First, has anyone used the childcare -- Pinochhio's workshop I think? Our boys (5 & 7) went to Pinocchio's workshop back in September for a few hours while DH and I had a massage at the Spa. They both really enjoyed it, and have talked about wanting to go back. Dinner is available, and as I recall it was very inexpensive, something like $5 per child. I actually didn't pay for it (we ate dinner together as a family before we dropped them off), but the boys said they were given food anyway, and next time I'd send them for dinner too. It does seem geared towards younger kids, so your 11 year old might feel a bit "old" for it, but as long as they like Disney movies I think they would be fine. The staff was very nice, and I did feel it was well run. They take a photo of the whole family when you check in so that they can confirm that the right people pick up the kids. If you aren't in the photo, you can't pick them up, and they don't keep the photo- they give it to you when you are done. The parents also get a pager which works within the resort so that they can get in touch with you quickly if necessary.

Have a great time on your anniversary!
