Questions about GCH and DLH Pools

Getting ready for our first visit to Disneyland in over 30 years and first visit by my kids (8,8,3) next week.

With so many closed rides and temperatures in the 80's, I see us by the pool a lot. A few questions.

1) As GCH guests, can we go to the other hotel pools?
2) Are DLH pools open? I heard some were closed.
3) Can we stay at the GCH pools after checkout on Friday?

I believe there is no pool hopping at DLR. So you can only use the pool where you are staying. You can use the pools on check out day no problem. You just might have to ask for a pool access card if your room card isn't working to get in.

Nope. Only if the Grand's pool is closed for construction and then they'll tell you where you can go.

Yep.

I did read in another thread that you can use the DLH pool while staying at the Grand if you pay to rent a cabana.

Yes you can if renting a cabana. Call in advance as there are only 6 cabanas. Highly recommend renting a cabana for half day. One of the best splurges we had for our trip. Ask for a cabana by the monorail slides (if that is where your kids will spend most of their time)
