Questions about Gay Day Hotel Rate??

We already have a trip planned for Oct 5-10th at the Hojo but with the cheap Gay Days convention rate at the Disneyland Hotel I thought I would go ahead and book us for 2 nights at the end of our trip as our first stay on property!

It doesn't show anywhere on that reservation form on the gay days website that I have to pay a deposit. Does anyone know??? I don't want to hit the submit button til I know for sure. I did have to provide a credit card but I can't find anywhere a deposit amount. It shows the total for the 2 nights. Am I paying up front for the whole trip or is it just a reservation with my credit card to hold it??

Disney usually charges the first night to your card immediately.

Yes the previous poster is correct--your first night stay will be charged on your credit card immediately. If you cancel later you will be credited the full amount but it can take a while to get the credit back.

I booked through the gay days website and it did not take first night as a deposit

I can even go back to the site and look up my confirmation and it's still there .... same thing for a friend if mine.

I booked one night at the DLH a little over a month ago, and I haven't been charged yet. And my confirmation is still there.

Even if it does require charging me for 1 night I think I'm going to book it anyways. It will be our first stay on property and I don't want to miss out by waiting too late and not booking before it sells out.

It will also be our last visit on our annual passes. We won't be renewing and our next visit to DL might not be for a year or more as we want to try something different (looking at either New York City or San Antonio).
