Does the ice cream, that's available without additional charge, have any toppings that you can add? I've seen a lot of posts about smoothies. Are they included or additional charge? And, what are the options for breakfast? Do the dining rooms or Cabanas offer made to order eggs? Thank you!

By the pool there is an ice cream machine but its just ice cream no toppings from what I remember. In the main dining rooms there is ice cream sundae on the menu every night. On the new ships there is also Vanelopes (can't spell!) where you can purchase ice cream and other treats (lots of different flavours and toppings) but this is at an additional charge from what I've read.

Last time we sailed smoothies were an extra charge and there was an omelette station at breakfast.

The free ice cream station used to have toppings. They were removed due to the mess, probably created by unattended/poorly attended children and adults who couldn't behave like adults.

There are no toppings, but you can bring some with you from what I understand as long as they are sealed. You can also do my favorite thing, make a coke float!

There is a type of smoothie on the breakfast menu and at the little fruit quick service place at breakfast that is free. It is considered a yogurt smoothie and is very good, but small so you would have to take a few of them.

They do not have any toppings at the ice cream station. As a result, it does make for a popular Fish Extender gift.

Are there cones at the ice cream station or cups or both? Also, is it only vanilla soft serve or other flavours?

There are cones and cups. Sometimes the cones run out (particularly on longer cruises) and there may be only cups. The flavors are typically chocolate & vanilla. Sometimes there's banana, or strawberry. We've also seen mango and blueberry.

There is no Vanelopes on the newest ship. That won't happen until the next dry dock.

There are no toppings at the EyeScream station, however, we used the drink cups for the ice cream and put soda in them for a great ice cream float! Don't forget to grab a spoon though!
Smoothies are an additional charge I believe.
In addition to making omlets at the omlet stations, I've seen people get made to order scrambled, and over easy eggs. I always get omlets though because the buffet scrambled eggs are always way runny and I just can't do runny, wet, scrambled eggs.

My understanding was it was on the Dream and Fantasy (newer compared to the originals). Apologies if I was wrong about this!

We're just off the 8/8 Alaskan Wonder cruise. Cones only at the soft serve ice cream station, but we went to the soda area to get cups there for easier transport of ice cream to the room (picked up spoons at Goofy's Galley). Vanilla/Chocolate/twist offered on all days. 1 set of ice cream machines changed to fruit flavors on days 4, 5, 6, (banana/blueberry/twist; banana/strawberry/twist; pineapple coconut/strawberry/twist). I missed the blueberry one--went too late and one of the crew was cleaning that one out for the next day. DD12's favorite was the pineapple coconut one--tasted like a non-alcoholic pina colada to me.

Vanellpoe's is only on the Dream, the Fantasy doesn't have one (yet) AFAIK. It is for an additional cost. The ice cream stations have soft serve on all ships. Cones are provided, but they do run out. No toppings provided.
Can also make ice cream sandwich with Chocolate Chip cookies from elsewhere on ship, sometimes at Goofy's or at Cabanas.

Smoothies are at additional cost.

Breakfast can be sit-down at one of the restaurants, or Cabanas buffet. Cabanas has an omelet station and you can order eggs other than omelet.

Ain't nothin'. Vanelopes is replacing the Arrrrcade because they apparently don't make enough money off of video games. The Fantasy hasn't been in a dry dock since they decided they needed a candy and ice cream shop.

Thanks for the info! I should bring some rum and add onto the pineapple coconut twist. Pinacolada is one of my favourites! Yum ...

You are no longer allowed to bring rum onboard DCL.

You would have to purchase a shot of rum at a bar and mix it with the ice cream. You might as well just purchase a Pina Colada.
