questions about flying

DH, 2DD and I are going to WDW in April 2004. We will be flying either out of BWI or Dulles. Was wondering when is the best time to start looking to purchase airline tickets? Which airlines usually have the best rates? Southwest Air looks like the most inexpensive but their flights book so quickly. We want to leave early in the a.m. so that we don't waste that day. Also, which park would you visit if you got there around 1:00 p.m. ?

I prefer BWI to Dulles. Epcot is a good park to start later in the day as it stays open later.
