Questions about Fantasmic Dining Package

I am not sure how to book this package and am struggling to find any info on it. Anyone have any info please?

How much is it?

Do you make the reservation on the same number as your adr's?

Is it at the new 90 day mark?

Are the priority seats in a good location?

Is it a reserved section or do you get a seat number?

Do you have to queue to get in in the usual way or can u arrive just before the start & get your reserved seat?

Anything else I need to know?

There is an FAQ at Allears Claire.

There are 3 different prices depending on which restaurant you eat at.

Yes you do make the reservation on the normal number.

Yes it is 90 days.

Seating is at the right of the theatre as you look at the stage.

It's just a reserved section, although once the main seating is full they open it up to all.

You enter through the 'exit' by Olivers and you don't have a reserved seat so you still have to get there a bit early.

Make sure your server at the restaurant gives you your pass and signs it.

It's definately one of those days today....earlier I went to put the margarine away & put it in the freezer instead of the fridge then a bit later spent 10 mins looking for it.

I'm not a fan of this, to be honest. We did it once but the "reserved" seating for Dinner Package guests is right over in the far right-hand corner. The view isn't that good in my opinion. It beats arriving 3 hours earlier to bag a central seat, but if you're visiting during a (relatively) quiet period, I'd avoid it and try to get more in the middle.

I have to say I was initially cynical about the view, but maybe its just me but the seats felt a tad closer to the action (though really, Fantasmic is great at any angle in the theatre just about, this just makes getting a seat a tad easier and less time consuming)

Also we ate at the Hollywood and Vine, which wasnt as bad as some people were suggesting. The buffet was lovely and we could have all the soft drinks or coffee/Tea we wanted. Its the cheapest option (eating at mama melroses or Black Derby costs a bit more) but the experience didnt feel cheap.

I have to agree. We all enjoyed the meal at H&V. It wasn't too busy and everything on offer was nice and fresh. The seating area was also a good spot to watch the show. We have watched it from all angles in the past and didn't think the reserved seating was any better or worse than anywhere else in the arena.
As I understand it the seating, and show, is set up in such a way that everyone can see everything from everywhere.

The reserved section is held until about 15/20 mins before the start and then released if the rest is full.

We've done this a couple of times but this year we're trying a different strategy of going to the later Fantasmic showing which is supposed to be significantly less busy...

Thanks Karen. I was thinking of just going to the late one but I wasn't sure if it is a permanent thing or just busy periods?

We will be going in September which is classed as off peak but I guess by the time it gets to the 90 day mark the park/show/parade etc hours should be up so I guess I will decide nearer the time.

Plus Jan and Feb are off peak too - and they have been adding an extra show. I think that now the american idol show is open it will be a bit quieter (fingers crossed!)

That's good to know - I was thinking what with the cut backs that they would only have 2 shows on peak times.....fingers crossed.

we are going on the 28.5.09 for 2 weeks , is that peak time will there be 2 shows on then ????
