Questions about Dolphin Exec. suite

We just booked a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom executive suite for a family vacation. I've looked at the floor plans and pictures online but have a quick question.

It looks like only Swan has the small, round dining table but I've found some message board type pictures that show a table and they say it's the Dolphin. Have any of you even been in a Dolphin Executive with a table? I asked the person on the phone but I think he was just at a call center looking at the same floor plan I had.

Also, have any of you ever been on the first floor with a patio outside like they have at Beach/Yacht? Trying to decide if we'd like to request that so kids have room to play outside (since dolphin doesn't have balconies in these rooms) or if we want to request high up for the greT views.

Any other tips would be great- thank you!

This is a picture from the swandolphin website of a Dolphin Executive suite. It shows a table.:

We had a balcony when we stayed in the suite. I know this because there were snow flurries on one of our trips and we stood on the balcony to see it. It's been a few years since we booked this type of room and it may have changed.

Did you call 407.934.4000? It may be an onsite number as opposed to an 1-800 phone number.

Thank you! I can't remember which number I called but is don't think he was at the resort. I saw the picture of the suite shows a small round table, but the floor plan shows no table. Then again it does say furnishings subject to change. It's not a huge deal- just thought it would be nice for the kids to have a spot to sit and eat breakfast!

The balcony would be a great jerk but again not a deal breaker.

I'm still keeping my eye out for FL resident discounts for Disney hotels in January. As of right now we have a rate of about $460 for a 1 bedroom suite and $750 for a 2 bedroom suite at dolphin vs. about $430-450 for 1 room at Cont. or Beach Club. I'd love to he on the monorail (will spend most time at MK with 2 little cousins) but it's hard to resist all if the extra room and extra barhrooms at Dolphin!

Did you check the special offers page?

Check for AAA rates which can be very good for the S/D. Alos. nurses, teachers, gov't employees often get even better rates.
