Questions about Disney Villians After Hours

We will be in Florida on a non Disney vacation in June. My wife wants to do the after hours event( so we are doing it)
Saw someone post about getting FP for the time before the event starts. Can we make FP with the after hours tickets? Also can we link them to the MB we have from our Oct 2017 trip? Thanks for the help.

Link your tickets to your MDX Profiles. You’ll be able to book FPs and will be able to enter the park and FP lines by using your old MBs.

Yes... you should be able to make FP for the time before the event starts.
Yes...you can use your old magic bands. You just need to make sure everything is linked in your MDE account, which should already be linked to your MB.
