I am thinking about taking advantage of the courses offered while on the College Program. First, I have a couple questions...

1.) How many courses can be taken in one time period?

2.) How much does each class cost?

I am looking now on the Onboarding site and don't see answers to those particular questions.

Thank you for any help!!

Michelle

ETA - I did find that we can take two courses during one term.

Yeah, it's only two courses per term. They do it that way because they're each only once a week and they're upwards of 4 1/2 hours long. From the way my managers on my CP described it, you worked five days a week, had one school day, and one full day off. They're not supposed to make you work on days you have class and you generally only get 2-3 days off.

Each class costs around $30, I think? That's about what mine cost (I took Marketing You). They take it out of your paycheck as well, but in small increments so you don't really notice it.

Hope that helps!

This helps tremendously. Thank you SO much!! I am looking at the Marketing You. Did you enjoy it? Did you feel it was a worthwhile class?

You're welcome!

Marketing You was okay... It was interesting, but it's very much a career aptitude type of course. If you already know what kind of career you want, then it probably won't be that helpful of a class. If you really enjoy that whole process, however, then you could definitely like it. It just personally didn't help me a whole lot. I wish I would've take Disney Heritage or Creativity & Innovation. Everyone I've talked to that's taken those two courses has absolutely loved them.

Thank you! :flower3:

I am already a professional photographer (mainly weddings) and am trying to narrow it down. I was hoping for one marketing course that will maybe help me figure out how to get my name out there more. I was definitely looking at the Disney Heritage. I am not worried about credits. I am more concerned with having a class with a top company. Make sense?

Do the classes have homework, speeches, and papers? Or is it more informative and lecture based?
