Last time I went in 2004, the biggest discount was the Entertainment card. I'm not seeing anything about that anymore. Do they still have Entertaiment discounts?

I see they take AAA discounts. Do you call the 1-800-beastar to get it? How much is it?

Do they ever discount deluxe rooms or club level?

I'm starting to look for discounts for summer, 2006. :)

There hasn't been any Entertainment discounts in a long time :sad1:
I am not sure if you get the AAA discount by calling Universal (1-800-beastar) or if you have to go thru AAA itself.
I have gotten a discount off club level at the RPR.
Happy planning :goodvibes

If there is an Entertainment Rate you have to go to Entertainment.com to see if it is available for the on-site hotels.

As for the AAA discount you can Universal Reservations directly and let them know you are an AAA member and you can get the discount. You can also go to universalorlando.com and book the rate as well on-line. Just type AAA in the promotion/code box. If you have a preferred annual pass or a power pass you can use the codes APH and PWR. If you are a Florida Resident you can use code FLO.

I would also mention that sometimes package come out the closer you get to your trip that may beat any of the code discounts. For instance, I got a package for 2 adult, 2 child five consecutive day passes and 3 nights at RPR standard view for $774. That includes tax. Plus the kids eat free for 3 days. That was a better deal than using my AAA discount and buying the passes seperate.

Have fun planning

Hi, I am also trying to plan an on-site trip to Universal and was wondering can you book it now under current rates and then change the reservation to a package if one becomes available closer to your stay?

i went in May 04 and made ressies to reserve my room than i called back months later when the entertainment rate came out.

I bet you can but someone here will correct me if I am incorrect, just keep checking back

brooke :flower:

My understanding is that "04 was the last year that they gave E-rate discounts. My best discounts of late have been with the annual pass. There is a discount for GE employees that is pretty good as well if that applies to your family.

i called the company and they told me that the loew hotels at universal pulled out from the e program. those hotels no longer needed the discounts in order to fill their hotels.

they didn't renew with ent.
books already printed prior so thats why the section in the back shows the hotels.
i went to the website someone here mentioned and nothing for hrh on the entertainment site.

a week ago they had rooms for rph but the AAA rates beat it.

i checked orangevacations and hotelkingdom
they had the rooms at one hotel for $211. a night.
