Questions about crowds in March?

We always go the in the beginning of March. The crowds are pretty good and the weather is great. We try to get out of there before the spring break kids start arriving towards the end of March. If you are a baseball fan the Braves have their spring training at ESPN and it is a great time, you never even have to leave the bubble. There is one crowd that arrives at this time that we were surprised about. It seems that the people of New Orleans tend to flee the scene during Mardis Gras. We kept noticing so many people wearing LSU clothing, we finally asked someone. The response we got is that locals rent their houses out and the money they make is enough to afford a trip to WDW. So Fat Tuesday is on Feb 28th this year so I expect to see lots of purple and gold in the first week of March this time around.

"Spring Break" is the entire month of March up to and including whenever Easter is. Many schools will adjust their Spring Break based upon when Easter is. In our school district, we have had spring break usually in the middle 2 weeks of the month. I would guess to say that saying there is more or less during any particular time of the month is wrong, unless you have Easter in play.

We were there from March 1-5 of this year. The weather was amazing. It was probably mid 70s and sunny every day. In fact, there were a coupe of days where we hit the park in the morning, went to a Braves Spring Training game in the afternoon and then back to the parks in the evening.

We stayed at Pop, and crowds weren't bad at all. Yes, there were a couple of bands staying there, but it wasn't bad at all. Also, crowds at the parks weren't bad.
