Never in a million yeas did I think we'd ever get the chance to go to Club 33, but we have blessedly been given the opportunity by one of my sister-in-law's customers. pixiedust:

I think it will just be DH and I going (SIL isn't a huge Disney fan like us and has volunteered to watch our daughters during our meal :yay:), and it will be on one of our park days.

I am thinking lunch versus dinner, but I'd like to hear recommendations and thoughts. It is buffet or a la carte? What can we expect to budget for a meal for the two of us? (no alcohol) Is anything else included with our meal?

Anyone have reviews with photos?

I really feel like we won the lottery with this one, and I'm so excited! :goodvibes

OK, for a "date", dinner is probably more romantic. Lunch is a buffet appetizer bar, soup, bread, and dessert bar, and a plated entree. Expect lunch to run about $105 with tax and tip per person.

Dinner is a la carte. There is a minimum food requirement of $85. (Then add tax and tip, back to $105.) They also have a Vintners menu, which is actually pretty good, because if there is something you don't like, they will substitute for you! My daughter likes it so she can try some items, but the ones that are too far away from her tastes can be worked out.

Be aware, the regular cheese plate is HUGE. It can easily be split.

What else comes with the meal? If you pay by credit card, you can keep the pen! (When they have them...)

Anyone have reviews with photos?
Dinner review.

Lunch Review.

I will be going for the first time ever December 4th. This is what I have heard....you have to plan on about $100 a person....it really does not matter...lunch or dinner as far as pricing.

Lunch is a buffet like no other...but you choose your entre that goes along with the buffet.

The buffet is pretty awsome.

The menu and lots of questions can be answered here...

There are many that can answer this question much better than I. But yeah for winning the lottery! I feel like I have as well!

Enjoy!

I'm starting to think I'm the only one who hasn't been to Club 33. :sad1:

Congrats OP! Have a blast and please come back and report. pixiedust:

DH and I did dinner and it was definitely more "date" appropriate. There were only four tables in the restaurant seated while we were there, and we could watch the fireworks from our table! :)

I ordered the Vintner's menu and it was awesome. DH got the salmon and a shrimp appetizer. We also ordered, ahem, two bottles of wine, so that brought our price up to about $300. If you're not drinking, it will be closer to the figure Malcon10t posted.

I think that looking back on it, I probably would have liked to have tried lunch because of the seafood on the appetizer buffet and the yummy dessert buffet, but our dinner was really special :) I also liked dinner because we were able to be more dressed up.

No your not.... I'm right there with you....
Haven't been and have no contacts to for an invite.

From all the previous threads on Club 33 I can see what it's all about.

To the OP, What a special time, enjoy yourselves.

I used to be one of those skeptics that thought it would never, ever happen for me and told other people on the boards to give up hope as well. I was lucky enough to be hit with an invitation out of the blue and have since changed my tune, so keep your eyes and ears open and hopefully you'll get your chance too!

We have never been, either, but we *may* get the opportunity the next time we go. What did you mean by "one of your park days?" Can you go on a day that you don't have a park hopper for? I am really ignorant of all things Club 33.

Add me to the list of skeptics....that will be going NEXT MONTH!! Never say never!!

Congrats, OP! I have not been and thus cannot contribute beyond a request to share your experience with us! Have a great time!

Club 33 members are able to give out 50 free one-day park-hopper tickets a year to guests for whom they make Club 33 reservations. It is at the member's discretion whether or not to use a free ticket on a guest. When I went, I already had tickets, so the member did not have to provide me with one.

By "on one of our park days," I simply meant that we will be going on a day that we are also touring the parks (and have our tickets for already). That's actually part of the reason I'm more interested in lunch than dinner is so that it's a little more casual and potentially a bit shorter. I'm not looking to rush the experience, by any means, but I'd like to have the later hours with our kids and the rest of the family, as we'll be seeing the Christmas parade and hopefully the holiday fireworks together. (We'll be there Dec. 7th-9th.)

I did a search and found a lot of good info, but I didn't see the dress code posted anywhere. Our usual park attire is jeans or shorts, tees, and tennis shoes. Is that appropriate for lunch or will we feel terribly under-dressed? :confused3

Copied and pasted from my confirmation in September:

Please proceed to 33 Royal Street, New Orleans Square, and ring the bell. A Cast Member will assist you from
there. LUNCH: Guests may come in fashionable casual attire in order to enjoy the Disneyland® Resort in
comfort. However, tank tops, cutoffs, swimsuits, bare midriffs, sweatpants, flip flops (plastic, rubber and
foam) or beachwear are not permitted. Walking-length shorts (knee length) are acceptable. Quality jeans are
acceptable, provided that they cover undergarments. Shoes are required to be worn at all times.
DINNER: If
Guests have been enjoying the day in Disneyland® Resort parks, evening casual attire is acceptable for dinner.
For gentlemen, collared shirts and trousers are appropriate; for women, an informal dress or pant with blouse are
appropriate. Quality jeans are acceptable, provided that they cover undergarments. Shorts are not permitted for
dinner. Shoes are required to be worn at all times. CHILDREN/YOUNG ADULTS: Above standards are

Lunch seems to be quite relaxed....but no flip flops ever!! Dinner seems to be a bit fancier in terms of dress. Here is the dress code..
http://www.disneylandclub33.com/Dresscode.htm

And depending on the days you will be there...lunch may be the only option as they only offer dinner Thursday - Sunday in the off season...which I believe is the time you are going to be there.

And I hear Sunday Brunch is awesome!! If that is an option!!

Thanks for the info, that's good to know!

Congratulations! Pease be sure to post pictures, so those if us who have never been and will probably never go can live vicariously through you! Have a wonderful time! :goodvibes

We've been twice and had lunch both times ... it was wonderful. :cool1:
You get both an entree and all you can eat buffet for salads, seafood (jumbo shrimp cocktail, lobster tails, crab claws) as well as desert. I'm not sure if we'll try dinner next time just to see what its like but I do highly recommend the lunch:thumbsup2

OK, I can help you out here a bit. Dec 7-9th will be members and accompanied guests only for dinner in conjuntion to the Candlelight Processional, and is completely booked. So, your only option will be lunch prior to 1pm, as the early dinner will start at 430p.
