What characters are usually at this breakfast? Anyone have pictures? What is the menu? And lastly, is the breakfast from 9-10:30am, the whole 1 1/2 hours? Or can you make a reservation at 9:30? DS would absolutely love this!!

I can answer your last question - the latest reservation time is 10.15 ( I have this booked in May!!) so you can book anytime between 9am and then. I can't answer the other questions as this will also be my first visit!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

This is from the website:

Don’t Miss the Character Breakfast at Islands Of Adventure!

Breakfast is not just the most important meal of the day…now it’s the most fun!

Bring the whole family and enjoy breakfast with special animated characters and appearances at Islands of Adventure's Confisco Grille®, each Thursday through Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Call 407-224-4012 for reservations.

We have done this breakfast and my DS loveed it! The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 and Spiderman were there. IT seems like it is never busy in the later seatings and the characters spend a ton of time with us. The last time Thing 1 & Thing 2 actually sat at our table and played with my son and husband for about 20 minutes!

The food is average..it is set up buffet style...with the warming candle things underneath the food so it is warm....they have all the typical breakfast buffet food.

For the price, it is definately worth it....even if the food is not "5*"

Anyone know how far in advance you can book? Our vacation isn't until the beginning of September, but would like to make our reservations now if we could.

yes I rang the first time in February sometime for my May trip and the guy on the phone was really nice but seemed very surprised I had phoned so early!!:lmao: - he took my name & party size but nothing else.

It turned out I needed to change dates and when I rang back (just a week or so ago) they then took alot more info - eg cc details, phone no - so I guess they are only really expecting people to ring with a few weeks to go - so none of those 'crazy' 180 adrs here!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

That's so funny - I've been so indocrinated by Disney! 180 days is entrenched in my brain :scared1: .

Darn those 180 day ADR's!!! You think you can do EVERYTHING at 180 days!! I guess I will sit and wait.....impatiently :rolleyes1

Thats why I love Universal you don't have to worry about that 180 day junk and most ressies can be made day before or even the same day :goodvibes

So, this is IN Islands of Adventure. I didn't even know about it. Now, let's hope I can get a reservation for next week!

Are there any lunch character dining? I'd prefer that so we can enjoy Seuss Landing first thing.

Yes...this is at IOA...Confisco Cafe is located in Port of Entry near the plaza. I don't know of any character lunches.
